Major Crimes is getting a second UK broadcaster.
UKTV have acquired the The Closer spin-off for their crime focussed Alibi channel.
The first season of Major Crimes is set to premiere on Alibi later this year.
Created by James Duff, Major Crimes follows the major crimes division of the LAPD under the command of Sharon Raydor.
The drama series stars Mary McDonnell, G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Michael Paul Chan, Raymond Cruz, Phillip P. Keene, Kearran Giovanni, Graham Patrick Martin, Robert Gossett, Jonathan Del Arco, Jessica Meraz, Daniel di Tomasso and Leonard Roberts.
Recurring guest stars include Jon Tenney, Ransford Doherty, Kathe Mazur, Rene Rosado, Dawnn Lewis and Bill Brochtrup.
I absolutely loved The Closer. I do hope this ends up on Drama at some point.
