like the Peter Jackson film, this uses contemporary footage which has been colourised, and also runs smoothly rather than being very jerky. It tells the story of post war Europe. I have only just started to watch but it looks promising. It is a two parter.
It was followed by Living in the Shadow of WW2 about privations and rationing but I found the woman's voiceover so condescending that I couldn't listen beyond the first half.
