This is sort of like Gok Wan's makeover show but a lot deeper in some ways.
It's a DQ group of friends called The Family Gorgeous who are going from town to town finding people who want to use drag to give them back some confidence. Except one of them who is a typical working class father who feels he is losing his son since the latter came out. There's also a woman who feels she is just MUM cos she has two very demanding children and is losing the woman she was before she had kids.
It's really quite emotional, especially with the father, as most of the queens had, and still have, similar problems with their fathers.
And it's also interesting to see that one of the Family is a woman and it's not unusual. And you find out how much effort it is every day to be a DQ! By crikey it's a lot of work!
