Quite rightly he says that these recipes ar meat free and doesn't say anything about them being vegan. He goes on to say that meat free is healthy and good for the planet, something I won't disagree with. However, he goes on to use butter and cheese both of which comes from cows the breeding of which takes up vast amounts of agricultural land (think Brazilian rain forest) that lays waste to not just trees and plants but destroys the habitat of innumerable animals and insects. Think again Jamie!

Have been recording these, then watching them as "fillers" when there's nothing on that I want to watch for half an hour. He shows clearly how to produce the food with little fuss, and there's a section on how he was inspired to make some of the dishes when abroad, where a lot of the population eat vegetarian dishes as there, the meat is scarce.
His enthusiasm is catching, and the food all looks yummy! Just seen a gorgeous "cauliflower cheese pizza" dish which I can't wait to try.
