Ruth Jones (Gavin and Stacey) stars as Stella, a hard working mum, living in the Welsh Valleys. I think it was originally shown on Sky.

Having seen the trailer, and from the Valleys myself, I'm looking forward to it.

There's lovely isn't it. I enjoyed this first episode. Takes me right back to my childhood, especially when I saw the pony. In the winter, ponies and sheep used to come down from the mountain and walk the streets, presumably looking for food.

The women used to shout at one another across the road, instead of one going to the other for a conversation. I'm looking forward to next weeks episode.
