Monday 25th November at 5pm
You know Christmas is coming when Kirstie Allsop and her team pop up on TV. If making your own decorations is your thing, then this is the show for you. I've watched a few of the previous series, but it's too much like hard work for me.

I will definitely be watching. I hope the crafts shown are doable and don't require specialist equipment. Kirsty has completely revolutionised the craft industry and given it a new lease of life.
Most of us who craft, sew etc have a condition called "craft envy" we always want to do what "they" are doing.

I love the men oriented craft shows as well and I know what you mean by "craft envy" because they have so many of the things I dont, a fully equipped shop with all the proper tools, experience, skill. But I still learn some basics i can apply to other things. It's the same with most cookery programs. They just arent realistic to many viewers because of time constraints. There is a lady here that has a cookery show where she makes meals that are specifically designed for working parents. Good healthy meals that can realistically be cooked and on the table in under an hour. As an added bonus she also includes a different cocktail recipe with each meal. I think the idea being that it's also realistic that a lot of working parents, especially single parents, like a nice stuff drink at the end of the day too.
