I'd forgotten there'd be no TMS from South Africa as the BBC has lost the rights re overseas tours - was there something about that not including the Ashes, or am I just being hopeful?? Couldn't find anything in the 'legendary Radio Times' but the commentary is on Talksport 2 it turns out.... We'll get used to it I expect

Who's commentating on Talksport? Seems weird not to have TMS. Even though I stopped listening to it.

Aggers is there, as BBC cricket correspondent, but limited to brief repoerts on 5Live Not sure about the commentators, apart from Mark Nicholas and I think, Steve Harmison... There is commentary on 5Live Extra overnight, the Australia v NZ Test, which gives the chance to hear Jim Maxwell , one of my favourites

I like Jim Maxwell. I might give it a go then. See who is commentating. If the ones I don't like are more than 40%, I'll give it up.

Just thought, does Talksport have loads of ads?

The main one does, before I remembered there was a '2' I listened to about 5 minutes of ads, including an elongated version of 'Just Eat' But the commentary seemed to be ad-free, I expect they make up for it at lunch and tea though
