I see a new series of Great Pottery Throwdown will be starting at 9.00pm. on the 8th Jan 2020 on More 4. Having previously been axed by the BBC despite good viewing figures. Loved this programme despite the tearful judge! I think he is still part of the programme but I don’t know if the format has been changed at all.

Yes, I've started seeing ads for this. I liked it when it was on before. I don't often watch More 4 so I hope I don't forget.

I'll be giving this a miss, not for me I'm afraid. I remember doing pottery at school, hated it.

Yes pottery was rubbish at school. We had a whole basement studio dedicated to pottery creating and I did it for a year - but not once were we able to 'throw' any pots. The studio didn't even have a potters' wheel. It was all about moulding, firing and painting / decorating. My mate made a fabulous chess set though - all in the style of cartoon-like cavemen Best I could do was a set of ashtrays!

I've never watched this, but surely nothing can beat the send-up of the Ghost pottery scene in The Naked Gun 2 1/2!
