I love basic board games. Monopoly, Scrabble, Life, Sorry. Card and tile games, Uno, Rumicube, dominos. I've never learned to properly shuffle a deck of cards. Uve tried, just cant get the hang of it. I like solitaire on my phone. And I love words with friends. Anyone else play? Might be tricky to play with any of you though because of so many different spellings between US and proper English.  |

Words with friends? Don't know that one. I've never played a computer game in my life and wouldn't know where to start. I play Bonza and Bonza Planet )which used to be called Bonza National Geographic) on my phone – it's a word building game following a theme and sometimes a mystery word. Members of the public create the puzzles so some are better than others. I also like the National Geographic jigsaws which change each day, with puzzles made from their photos: www.nationalgeographic.com/games/photo-puzzle-jigsaw/I like board games but am ashamed to say I'm rather competitive and don't like losing. And I like chess but am useless. |

I don't know Words with Friends either. I play solitaire on my laptop (a lot) and enjoy killer sudoku uncaged, jigsaws and cryptic crosswords. Would probably play more games like trivial pursuit if I had an opportunity but OH not interested (plus I'm a bit competitive too)

'Words with Friends' is basically online Scrabble.
You play against another person (presumably a friend) on the hosted site. Its free. You can log in to the site from your PC or from an Ap on your mobile.
Sometimes you can get through a game in a day. Other times it may take a week or more depending on how long it takes the other person to take their turn.
You can also play games against the computer on the ap. I can generally do a game with the computer opponent in about 90 minutes.
Its a nice way to kill time while you are sitting around waiting somewhere or whilst listening music.

I've recently started playing online Solitaire. The variations are quite interesting. Have Downloaded a few, too. Beautiful graphics.
