Cracking game between West Ham and Chelsea, brilliant.
Man Utd got a win too, the Bruno goal was superb.

I've listened to several commentaries, not necessarily concentrating on every minute - have I missed something? Where is the very annoying Alan Green??

They haven't? Wow. Did he say something racist and horrible? I shall have a look.
Surprisingly he didn't! They just retired him.

And, he very vocally spoke of his anger at their decision.

Don't know about 'very vocally'. Looked more like a whingy tantrum to me.
I must have missed him going cos I automatically turned the radio off as soon as he came on.

It was first announced in March that he would be going., and he immediately went off on a whinge, condemning the BBC for everything under the sun, obviously not the sort of place where he would want to work. So, I don't see what the problem is.

Mind you they still need to clear a couple of 'it wasn't like that in our day' pundits - of course it's not, because that was 50 odd years ago. I don't mind a funny anecdote, a good yarn, but just the constant dribble of in my day that wouldn't have been a yellow card, that wouldn't have been a red, that wouldn't have been a penalty/free kick. It may not have been but in their day quite often a player was finished at 25 with serious injury and no keyhole surgery to put it right either. Players want a longer career now, not just 5 years and a leg break by some hefty bloke whose only job was to chop you off at the knees.
