Or what to do when everyone is home to see that you usually do nothing. Please add some ideas. here are some of my list.
We got out a stack of old CD's that I never thought to hear again to fill the home with some familiar oldies - and classics to avoid putting on the TV until later.
Usually I only do a massive jigsaw at Christmas - which I always find stressful otherwise. Might send for one/some.
Sorting out cupboards and fridge to concoct dishes and spare from chucking out - and making space in case we ever get enough.
Watch a heap of recorded stuff and plan some more with a broader range.

No one else with ideas? I have set some seed today and plan to do some more. Then have just come across my KIndle. After charging I'll see if there is anything on it and if not get some stuff to read.

I've got a few old autobiographies to read, but I'm still at work, but they're there if and when needed. I got my mom a supply of books from the library, with a wipe with an anti bacterial wipe! I've put some old movies on my tablet so my mom can watch a film if she wants and I've added some music she likes and there games on there anyway, but she's obsessed with Candy Crush on her phone, on almost Level 1000! So there's quite a bit there. I have some jigsaw stores in my bed but I haven't got the space to do them. I'm a telly addict so films and TV shows will keep me more than occupied.

I do online jigsaws. The sizes of the pieces can be enlarged, which is very handy for me right now. Also do wordsearches and scrabble online. Plus family tree sites.

Thank you, PE. - good ideas I shall follow up , I had thought of bridge on line - because it is safer than the knives on table set I used to belong to long, long ago. I stopped when mucking about with a fistful of cardboard became obsessive. newspaper bridge columns have had to suffice since. Scrabble looks OK but my friends seem to know many daft little words that may be in a dictionary but are never use - apart from smug scrabble players.

I've lots of books to read, but owing to the cataracts I might have to use my magnifying sheet. Basically it's a piece of plastic but works like a magnifying glass.

My sister dropped me off a Paint-by-numbers kit yesterday. Haven't done one of those since I was a kid!

At last I have finished my dressing gown/housecoat so a new sewing project will have to wait. I am going to practice my drawing and see if the completed cataract operation has made any difference.
