Monday (1st) at 11pm and throughout the week.
Buffy makes her E4 debut. This is where we first meet Sarah Michelle Geller, David Boreanez and Anthony Head,(Merlin). I never saw it the first time around, so am looking forward to this.

It's really good! I watched it when it was first broadcast and then binge-watched it on Netflix.

One of my all time favourites! The first episode I ever saw was the one about the hyena spirits and I was instantly hooked.

I've only seen a few clips or episodes here and there, so I'm looking forward to catching up.

I got my 16 year old into it last year, it's been on Amazon Prime for a while. I think she watched the whole 7 series' through about 3 times now 😄

Enjoyed the first episode. Will be watching the rest of the series. Didn't recognize Eric Balfour (Skyline) at first.

Usually TV series based off of a popular film are pretty bad. This was a rare example of the original film being popular, but rather ho hum light entertainment for 90 minutes +/- And the TV series being superb and lasting 7 series, nearly 150 episodes. The series obviously benefiting from terrific scripts and the ability to take a leisurely pace at developing characters and story lines that suit this type of material. A quick, drive-in movie for the Friday night teen crowd doesn't have that luxury. The film did have the benefit of having the wonderful Luke Perry. RIP And its worth watching from time to time just to compare and contrast to the series it gave birth to.

Starting on Monday (21st) at midnight . (Naturally)
Angel, the spin off series. Looking forward to this. Unfortunately I'll only be able to watch the first half hour, finishes too late for me.

I never got into that, not sure why. Possibly because my favourite vampire was Spike, not Angel

Spike did go into Angel later on, but I think they only did it because he was a popular character and it devalued his ending in Buffy.
I liked Angel a lot - not least because it introduced me to Amy Acker, one of my favourite members of the Joss Weedon collective.

Well, this is interesting (to me, anyway). I went to IMBD to see what Amy Acker has been doing recently, and came across this series that I’ve never heard of: Con Man (2015-2017, 2 seasons) Alan Tudyk (from Firefly) plays a struggling actor who once had a role as a spaceship pilot in a sci-fi series and now travels the fan conventions. His friend, who is now a famous movie star, was the captain of the spaceship and is played by Nathan Fillion... also (of course) from Firefly. www.imdb.com/title/tt4642170/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_11

Sounds fairly biographic.
To go back to Angel, I'm glad I never saw it then, if that's what they did to Spike. His story arc was one of the strongest in the show and he did some amazing acting in S6. I'm not saying any more cos spoilers but it was brilliant.

Last episode on Thursday, then they are repeating it from first episode on Friday! Quite enjoying Angel, though Cordelia spoils it for me. Glad Spike will make an appearance.

"Alan Tudyk, as himself!"
I've never seen 'Con Man', though I'd like to. Just found out that 'The Venture Bros' is available on All 4, though, which is cool.
