Has anyone else see this American comedy series on Netflix?
Space Force is a political satire workplace, comedy drama, a skit on the actual United States Space Force (USSF) the space warfare service branch of the U.S. Armed Forces that the Trump administration formed in established in December 2019 as an independent branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Professional critics have not had much good to say about the show in their reviews, but my stepson and I found it to be enjoyable.
It stars Steve Carell as General Mark R. Naird, Space Force's first Chief of Space Operations and John Malkovich as Dr. Adrian Mallory, Space Force lead scientist). The only other actor I recognised was Lisa Kudrow as Maggie Naird, Mark's wife who is in prison for an unspecified crime.

It's on the list to watch as I quite like Steve Carell. Is it more silly than satirical?

It's on the list to watch as I quite like Steve Carell. Is it more silly than satirical? It's not silly, as such, though it can be, but a satirical farce is probably the best description for it. I've watched all ten episodes and it's enjoyably fun. I've read some rather po-faced reviews of it but I think that's because the reviewer probably went in expecting something from the Cohen brothers...SG1 meets Parks & Rec. There you go. Put the most dependable parts of those two together and that's what you can expect.

Sounds good! I shall give it a watch then.
I did watch the Space X launch the other day but have to admit to FFD through a lot of it as it was a bit gung-ho. But then I guess Americans really need something to feel good about at the moment.
