Finished watching this 6-part crime seriies, which I found entertaining enough to binge on, even if it is rather unbelievable with some fortunate coincidences.

The title applies both to a mis-matched detective duo, and to the serial-killing pair they're after. These four are complex characters and mostly have "history". Eve Myles plays one of the detectives and Hermione Corfield (she was in 'The Halcyon' series about a wartime London hotel) one of the killers, Vicki Pepperdine is the detectives' boss, and Kris Marshall (not listed in the imdb cast for some reason) a boarding school headmaster.

There has been a second series on Alibi.

I thought it was on BBC.

BBC programme site for the series doesn't show any previous broadcasts & printed RT says it's new to BBC1, previously on Alibi. Maybe it was on the Drama channel (like Annika)?
