We had crumb dusted haddock tonight, with cauliflower and baby new pots. (My tablet just changed that to paddock ) I love my slow cooker, but use it more in winter. Great for stewing and pot roasts.

Yum. Pork and veg in cider casserole for me. Think I will make some age dumplings. Blimey - casserole & dumplings at the end of June!

That link don't work.
I've never heard of those. I wouldn't usually put a fried dumpling in a stew. Are they nice?

We really like them. They are found in Chinese and Japanese cooking. You don't normally put them in a stew, they are a side dish.

So, it wouldn't be SAGE dumplings then? It could well be, and I really wouldn't be surprised; but it just so happens that there is such a thing as age (the e is pronounced) gyoza dumplings

I never doubted it LW. I've had them several times, but never made them myself.
I just thought that sage goes with pork so......... Although pork is popular in oriental cooking.
Using an iPad, I get used to checking for typos all the time, as Apple has some very peculiar guessing.

Bright & sunny this morning so it might be back to something with new potatoes & salad. Have soon steak in the freezer.
