How long before Sunderland are forced yo forfeit games and have a pools panel draw? It seems to have taken weeks for them to sort out the covid cases and get people into isolation.

I haven't been keeping up with the football here but if they haven't bubbled, surely all teams are going to find it tough to put games on.

Talking of bubbles: Queen of the South are likely to be hit with a Scottish FA charge after allowing George Galloway to attend the Boxing Day Scottish Championship visit of Dundee to Dumfries. Queens have issued two apologies, which Galloway has defended on the basis of giving publicity to the club. The problem was that the invitation was made when they were in Tier 1, but the match took place when they were in Tier 4, which Galloway knew. George Galloway's bizarre trip to Queen of the South to end in charge for clubNeedless to say, fans are not happy at the situation.

I think it's time footballers get a three match ban for ignoring covid restrictions. The clubs simply saying he's said sorry and he tested negative isn't enough. If he'd tested positive he could have infected half the team.
