I've started watching this on Amazon Prime as I've finished a House MD binge. Halfway through season 2 but I am struggling to care about any of the characters. Is it me?

They are all dreadful except for Sandra Oh imho. Doesnt help that most of the junior doctors are written like teenagers. And as for Meredith herself, I could have kicked the tv. Everyone is just so self-obsessed. Yet I found the show itself quite watchable, lol.. (That may have been because of Patrick Dempsey though.)

Grey's Anatomy was never meant to be taken as a serious medical drama.
Its was all just a cheesecake drooling series that happened to be set in a hospital.
No one ever talked about the storylines. It was all about the bed hopping of Drs "McDreamy" and "McSteamy"
The serious characters like Sandra Oh were just there to provide "Plain Jane" contrast to rest of the cast who were all like fashion magazine models.

I reckon I’ve seen every episode of this programme. Always liked it , always recorded it and had it on whilst I did my ironing!

A friend of mine recently found this on Netflix and has watched it all (I think). He asked me if I had seen it and I told him just the ones on Freeview. He then launched into a massive complaint (well several over a few calls) about how dreadful everyone was! I just told him he was addicted to box sets regardless of content, 😂😂.

I know the feeling Marion! I am sticking with it as I find it difficult not to complete what I've started. Am a couple of episodes into season three and I just try and ignore Meredith who is my main bugbear.

Well - I am now halfway through series 7 and I can't believe how much it has improved! Once the stupid Mcdreamy bit was toned down they actually started to tackle some meaty medical and psychological stuff. I will stick with it (as I am an finisher) so hope they can keep the standard up |

Finished! Well as far as season 15 anyway - season 16 is not yet available in my location. The standard remained good and there were many interesting storylines - glad I made the effort  |
