Swedish Dicks is not what its name seems to be...
...it’s a daft comedy series about two Swedish private investigators in LA, and their North Korean assistant. Of course they are bad PIs but somehow come good, which is where much of the comedy comes from.
Cast has Peter Stormare (who created it), Johan Glans, Vivian Bang, Traci Lords, and Keanu Reeves makes an occasional appearance (but it’s a role, not a lazy cameo for star value).
While not quite the same it’s in a similar tradition of comedy as Police Squad and Danger Theatre and, like them, appears to have been equally short lived (season 2 ended three years ago), so it might be an underrated, under appreciated future classic.
It completely passed me by, but I’ve just binged it. Well worth a look.
