I need help! For the last 4 days or so, I've been having problems with accessing websites on my Win 10 HP laptop. It keeps come up with messgages similar to 'DNS server not responding'. When it happens again, I'll get a screenshot of exactly what it says. I've done all things suggested on Google like resetting the DNS and using different ones and all that. I've been on the Plusnet website and their forum has lots of the people with a similar problem and they reckon it's the Hub One router. Plusnet are, of course, denying it's anything to do with them at all. I'm not sure it is the router. It's not flashing or anything and my Android tablet is working fine, even when I use the desktop version rather than the app.
Details:
HP laptop - 1 year old Windows 10 Problem on both Chrome and Waterfox. All websites randomly affected Will sit with Server Not Found and then suddenly load. Is doing my head in. Please help

Do you have an ethernet cable so you could try directly hard wiring it to the router?
If it works connected hard wire it might be a wifi problem.

I don't know. I hope it's not cos my router is nowhere near where I sit using my laptop! Gak! I will have to dig it out later from wherever I've packed it away. Is the ethernet the one with the yellow end?
