Well they aren't, of course, the commentators are stuck at home, though it really sounds 'normal' Lovely to hear the familiar voices Lying in bed in the early hours of a dismal January morning listening to England versus whoever on the other side of the world is something I've done for so many years... hurray for the technology that's made it possible just when we need it most!

Me too! Just felt so "normal" to hear cricket commentary lying in bed in the winter! Love the idea of one in his attic (+ visiting dogs), another in his shed, another in her living room, one in Yorkshire looking out at the snow, all commentating on a match happening far away in Sri Lanka. Don't think this match is going to last 5 days sadly, but even it is just 3 or 4 it's still cheering to hear them all.

We'll have to hope that Sri Lanka's second innings, when they get one, lasts longer than their first - but not too long

So that's the end of the Sri Lankan tour - a very odd day, but then cricket has a habit of coming up with the totally unexpected Unfortunately that also means the end of TMS for a while too... I had hoped there might be news that they would cover the next series in India in February, but it sounds as though TalkSport will still have the rights to that I have tried listening to their commentaries, but it just isn't the same

Interesting fact. First time since 1982 that England have played a Test Series without a foreign born player in the side.
