The fact that they say you can pay for no ads is a total lie.
I signed for the free month of no ads which costs £3.99 a month afterwards. I started binging Buffy and guess what?
'Due to contractural reasons, this programme will feature promotions'. Yeah, every fifteen minutes. Just like adverts! They seriously expect people to pay to watch promos for their own programmes! HA!

I wasn't thinking of upgrading to the ad-free service anyway, and now I'm definitely not!
At least with ordinary All 4, if you briefly pause it when the ads start, it tells you exactly how long the break will last so you can go and do something else. Then if you're a bit late getting back, you can rewind to a point before the ad break and it will then let you play on seamlessly from there without showing the ads again. (The last time I tried that with the ITV player, it crashed).

I shall cancel it once I've finished watching Buffy and Angel. And then not bother again. It's such a scam! It's a terrible service anyway. No wonder they advertise how big it is cos they certainly can't advertise the quality

Another really annoying thing is how crappy the sound is. The volume button on my remote is getting a real workout. Up for the dialogue, down for the fight scenes, up for the dialogue, down for the ads...... ooof.
I have started watching Angel since S3 of Buffy. I never watched it the first time cos Spike = mmmmmm: Angel = meh. And it had Cordelia who was fairly annoying in Buffy. But she is better now she's a bit more grown up in Angel.
