Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Donald Glover are to star in a reboot of Mr & Mrs Smith. The pair will create and star in the Amazon series, which is based on the 2005 film starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The film told the story of married assassins who get assigned to kill each other. Fleabag’s Waller-Bridge and Atlanta star Glover are also acting as executive producers of the series, which will be released next year. Francesca Sloane is the showrunner.  |

Hmmm.... not a pair I would have put together but who knows? It might work, we will have to wait and see.

Hmmm.... not a pair I would have put together but who knows? It might work, we will have to wait and see. Could also be a bit Freudian too...he was in love with her as a droid in Solo. I agree. He's a bit low energy (from my memory of the film) and I think she wants to do it because she really wanted to be Vilanelle in Killing Eve and regrets not writing herself into the part.  Though they could surprise and it may be rather good, and you have to admire them because they both seem to have worked themselves hard into a position where they have the trust of a network to create and star in their own shows. |

I don't remember seeing him in anything so my doubts feature around her. She's a great writer but I hated Fleabag. I'm quite picky about the breaking of the Fourth Wall. And 9 times out of 10 I hate it. And I've not liked her in interviews I've seen either. But I can understand her wanting to be Villanelle.
