Monday (29th) at 8 pm.
Tribute to the actor Johnny Briggs who played Mike Baldwin from 1976-2006. Repeated Good Friday, at 10.35 pm. I'm not a Corrie fan, but admired the actor, will be watching.

Only thirty minutes, but they packed a lot in. I didn't know he had appeared in Carry On Up The Khyber, (though it was only blink and you'd missed it). Or in the Norman Wisdom film, A Stitch in Time. I haven't watched Corrie since the seventies, so all the scenes they showed were new to me. Blimey, what a Lothario Mike Baldwin was. If he'd been a dog, they would have taken him to the vet for a certain operation! After he left The Street, Johnny guested in other shows. His Corrie costars spoke very highly of him.
