The TV premiere of the 2019 film Wild Rose is on Film4 next Wednesday 15 Sept, 9.00pm - 11.05pm.
Jessie Buckley stars as a Glaswegian would-be Country singer, recently released from jail and with 2 children looked after by her disapproving mother (Julie Walters). Sophie Okonedo plays her well-to-do supporter. Saw this when it was included with Amazon Prime last year and greatly enjoyed it.
