Anyone up for yet another university lecturer/crime solver with mental health issues?
This time, his specialty is forensic science.
I’ve just watched the first episode, where the victim was caught in a deboning machine. Lots of opportunities for black humour about body parts. More gore but less angst than Silent Witness.

I've watched the first episode, and I'll watch some more. It came to my attention mainly because it's from Paul Abbott, creator of 'Shameless' and 'No Offence', although I think it's somewhat less extreme (apart from the gore) than either of those. Interesting to see Amanda Abbington in the cast, and Maggie O'Neill & Kevin Eldon guesting in the first episode.

I’ve now watched the whole series and would watch more. He gets a bit annoying when he goes manic, but I enjoy the character interactions. I did guess the resolution of the final case fairly early on.
