Just what I said Linseed! Has no one dusted that vase for 48 years? Not to mention thought of replacing what by now would be seriously faded faux flowers. Oh, and what else is in here… A Fabergé flower completely free of dust, if I’m not mistaken.

I really enjoy this (apart from the fact I find Robin Asquith and his missus irritating)

When they first went into that room and the flowers were on the windowsill, I thought well they've stood the test of time. What a stupid place to hide them. We know in reality someone would have cleaned that room and searched it during the murder investigation. Did Croatia or wherever have a Monarchy at the time that girl would have been born..........1970s early 80s or something by her age.
Daft as anything but still ok.

It was Moldavia/Moldova. Would have been part of Russia during the 70s until all the Eastern European republics broke away in the 90s. There was a monarchy at some point, and maybe they have current descendants!

Didn’t they call it Moldovia? I didn’t know if it was supposed to be Moldova or if they made it up TBH. Or just a hybrid of Moldova/Moldavia!

They may have made it up and the country I saw mentioned briefly was a hybrid of the 2.

Watched last night’s. Oh dear, it was dreadful, largely because of the ghastly couple who owned the house… surely it would be possible to have quirky characters without resorting to the unbelievably silly?

It’s such an odd curate’s egg of a series isn’t it? Dreadful but totally watchable! I’m finding the same with Hope Street, 😂.

One thing that is wrong with this show is getting your mates to act in it. The stories are barmy but we can all get passed that. What it really needs is some decent acting. It's shockingly bad, shocking.
I mean how bad was last night.
But I watch it, go figure.

Yes me too, such an unbelievable couple. Well everyone is unbelievable but that was a step to far.
They were barely out of each others sight but evil killer hubby had already met someone else in that small town in the day time!!! Who was it a delivery man?
The scenery is wonderful though and everyone lives in lovely houses and you wonder what colour her next wafty dress is going to be and if she ever takes her hair bobble out.
The policeman is OK but I can't see why he needs her help, it's nearly always a visitor who's the killer.

Haha, I too obsess about the dresses and the hair! I’m surprised she seems to have only one style of dress! And I also wonder if she is wearing a wig, or at least a hairpiece because it never seems to move does it? Plus, Jean always sounds as if she’s got a sore throat! Has her voice always been like that? I didn’t think so.

Maybe they're all knocking back cheap Spanish brandy and smoking cigarillos in between takes and just going "D'you wanna do that again, it was a bit crap....oh right, okay then. Take 5 everyone".
I was thinking she must have multiple extra dresses because they must get sweaty and dusty if they're filming for 12 hours.

It seemed to come to a neat ending, with all loose ends tied up, so I wonder if there will be another series or if that was it?
