Tom Cruise and Gary Lineker join Boris and the 'puppet government'. I've never seen the modern version of this show, so will be looking forward to it.

I didn't watch but am not surprised if it wasn't as good. Remakes seldom are, and the satire of the original was quite savage at times and would probably have to be watered down now. Also, are both Fluck and Law still involved?

Watched it. Just as well it was only thirty minutes, the Elton John piece was dire. Fluck and Law are mentioned in the credits, but I couldn't see in what capacity. I too preferred the original version.
