Five star Thursday.
On Dee Dee Blanchard is overprotective of her daughter, Gypsy, who is trying to escape the toxic relationship she has with her mother. Gypsy's quest for independence opens up a Pandora's box of secrets, which ultimately leads to murder. The stranger-than-fiction true-crime series is based on the shocking 2015 crime.
Just started watching this. Fascinating

I watched episode 1 and thought it was quite good. It is certainly a fascinating story and apparently Patricia Arquette won an Emmy.

Well this has taken a turn. About two episodes ago she knew nothing about sex and was very much into “True Love’s Kiss” scenarios. Now she’s having video sex with someone with a dual personality miles away and they have just had sex on a restroom floor after he came to visit! Blimey! And she’s bought a fishing knife…. Personally if she had put me through all this I think I would quite happily have finished the mother off! This poor girl is now early twenties and is still treated like a ten year old who cannot walk, or eat except through a PEG. It’s appalling abuse! She goes to the doctors who treat her regularly but there is nothing wrong with her! Amazing. And yet, I would have thought she could have walked across to the neighbour, exposed her mother for the liar she is and got out of it that way.
