Watching the second week and it's cake. One of the boys had a nightmare. Everything that could go wrong did and his little face was just a crumple. But the judges are so nice on this they always find something nice to say and he lit up, bless him.

Now at the final and one of the girls has really impressed me. She's made a lovely 3 tier cake and just as she was lifting to the edge of the table, the top tier fell off. She screamed and I was expecting tears but she just froze for a few seconds and then picked it up, said 'it's ok I know what to do' and did it. Very mature for an 11 year old.
