A new daytime police drama set in a Northern Ireland coastal town. To quote the Beeb's website, "The arrival of DC Leila Hussain sets tongues wagging – what brings this big city girl to a sleepy Northern Irish seaside town? Warm-hearted detective drama in a stunning setting."
Showing on BBC One weekdays, 2.15pm - 3.00pm, starting next Monday 31 January. Since it's nearing the end of a run on BBC One NI, most of the 10 episodes are already on iPlayer.

I think this is very odd. I’m only half way through episode one but it’s a bit “top of the morning” so far imho. Most of the characters seem as if they are on Prozac! I don’t want gritty but this is a bit OTT on the smiley front.

It does get better. Not so Oirish. It's completely unbelievable for lots of reasons but a nice enough watch. The scenery is gorgeous

I've just watched ep 1. Seems it could be a bit like Shetland without the grit!

I've watched all this week's now, i.e. eps. 1-5. Each episode ends with such a cliffhanger or dramatic revelation you have to keep going! It is very cosy and unrealistic but I'm enjoying it. Oddly it seems to have an underlying theme in common with the very different 'The Responder', namely that strictly following police procedure isn't always the way to achieve the best outcome.

I found it a bit like DiP in that is very cosy in spite of the plots which could be very dark indeed in another writer's hands. But then they get most of their plots from Christie and the same can be very much said of her!

I thought episode 2 was an improvement. Definitely not so Oirish, nor was everyone smiling as if their life depended upon it.

This definitely improved after episode 1 and I too thoroughly enjoyed it, well I still have the finale to watch. I would watch a second series and I would expect the NI arm of the BBC to be lobbying for it. The ensemble worked very well, I thought.

I'd like to see a second series. The cliffhanger ending of the finale was almost forcing the programme commissioners' hands!

Series 2 has started on BBC Ireland, my series link has picked it up as I had it set to all channels. Just looked and you can get it on IPlayer too.
