It seems that outside NI it's been hidden away late at night on BBC4. Next episode is series 2 episode 8, Tuesday 17 Jan 2023, BBC4 12.40 am - 01.25 am (i.e.late Monday night).
I watched S2 last year after it was pointed out (by superdreen, ^ Nov 14) that it was all on iPlayer.

Talk about hidden away in what they have virtually rebranded as a repeats channel. I didn’t spot any feature on it in the RT either, unlike when series 1 came onto daytime TV. I’ve watched episode 1 and didn’t think it was as good as series 1, although like that series it may improve. I don’t like the new guy either, his voice is grating to me. And I was disappointed Finn said he was going after his wife, not the detective when he had his crash. Also, who would accidentally agree to be a surrogate? The writing was poor there I thought because it did sound a bit like an offer.

Oh dear, episode 2 wasn’t any better. The acting is shocking from some, especially the baby-obsessed woman. Imagine having her bullying you throughout your pregnancy! I don’t know if this is supposed to be a humorous storyline but I think it’s appalling.

I’ve finished it now! I got quite attached to it despite the weak plots and crappy acting by some people. Yes I do mean Al, Concepta and the abysmal Nicole. And in case anyone is still watching on BBC4 {SPOILER:Click to Show}
I’m glad Nicole is now stuck with that less than angelic 14year old boy. I wonder why Finn would want his wife back… the wife who ran away with a PE teacher and has just been shagging his oldest friend and colleague! |

Season 3 begins on BBC1 on Friday 15 March at 1.15. I don’t know if it will air daily or once a week as this is the Father Brown slot which they moved to weekly for the current series.

S3 is on iPlayer already (previously aired in NI), and has 15 episodes this time (S1 & 2 had only 10).

I have Freesat and have access to all the BBC area channels, so I can watch and record the NI BBC channel, so that’s what I did. Funnily enough the NI channel works better for me during a storm when BBC 1 Scotland goes off air (I think my dish is a bit off)

Note for anyone watching S3 "linearly" - episode 14 of 15 airs 2 pm on Thursday 20 June, not Friday.
