Felt the need to revive this thread after today's episode.
Anyone still watching? What did you make of today's shocker?

Really sorry to see Heston go. He had a certain gravitas lacking in the other characters.

Yes I still watch as it suits my later than normal lunchtime at 1.45. Since the start after their summer break I was so disappointed in Rhuma's storyline of becoming deaf,so misleading to the many who will be going through this process. How will Rhuma cope with this as well also Al,the irresponsible driver of Heston's car,he seems very dazed,he should! I thought it would be Mrs Tembe, with all the build up in today's RTs

I stopped watching some time ago, got a bit fed up with the silly storylines. I might start again.

I stopped watching some time ago, got a bit fed up with the silly storylines. I might start again. I stopped too, after watching it with half an eye after lunch, whilst I tried to catch up on reading the newspapers. But even though I wasn't engrossed, it got a bit much eventually - everyone's marriage had to be "tested", and even some of the characters changed their sexuality! Sorry to hear that Heston is no more, he was a good character a nd well played by the actor involved.

I am sorry it was Heston that died. I could think of a few of the other characters I would happily see the back of. I wonder if it was the actors choice to be written out ?

I also wonder what he’ll do now.

It was good to see this return after it's extended summer break. I wondered if it would be possible for it to pick up where it left off but it seems to have done so. As I can no longer stay awake for the later evening programmes, daytime offerings become more important to me. Having a go at bringing this thread up for foxy and her query about ".Doctors "

I am still watching Doctors but I am not keen in the new practice manager. Mind you, Mrs Tembe is a hard act to follow, with all her quirkiness.

Reviving this thread again.
I'm very uncomfortable with this storyline about Valerie grieving for her cat. Are we meant to be empathising that someone really can be that distraught over the loss of a dear pet and companion, or are we meant to be laughing at her because it's just a cat? It's like they can't quite make up their mind.

I used to watch every programme but since it restarted I've been missing most of shows as my usual routine has been disturbed lately However I don't like most of the present storylines ie The new romance( Daniel and the manager, also not keen on her since she appeared) Also Valerie's cat and the rest so my attention is dwindling..... the new vicar !

I am now finding Becky very irritating. I hope Daniel and Zara get back together.

Daniel deserves the ladies’ reactions. What a weak man!
