It was good to see this return after it's extended summer break. I wondered if it would be possible for it to pick up where it left off but it seems to have done so. As I can no longer stay awake for the later evening programmes, daytime offerings become more important to me.

Have always enjoyed Doctors, although it's taking me a while to get back into it after being hooked on Red Rock. Can't stand Valerie though.

Sickened by Emma's lesbian conversion, widowed with a son, lover of Howard who's death devasted her, slept with Jimmy and only only recently she had a drunken romp with a male student.Totally out of character but then there seems a 'need' to include lesbian/gay characters whether it's detrimental to the story or not.
And before anyone asks, I'm NOT a bigot!

I totally agree. Do not like Emma and friend storyline. Seems very forced.

I stopped watching because like a lot of these types of programme, after a couple of years, they run out of stories and revert to everyone sleeping with everyone else. Or else long lost offspring appear out of the woodwork.

Or else long lost offspring appear out of the woodwork. Have to agree Delia, this latest storyline is so far fetched I'm thinking of ditching it.It started so great but has lost it's way, it's become a parody of what it started at and fills no purpose at all now, it's not about Doctors but about silly ideas which bear no example of human life or has no conformity to what percentage of human life beholds.I can't say that every 10th person is gay or lesbian I just don't see it on a regular basis. In fact I don't see it on any basis so why bring it into the equation as if it's norm? I apologise to any gay or lesbian folk, as I've said many times it's not YOUR fault that you've been portrayed as sex mad idiots in so many programmes but for goodness sake stand up and make programmes that mean LOVE and not a quick under the sheets shag!

Have to wonder how long it will be before Emma gets off with another bloke again! Stupid writing.

Saw them doing some filming in my area today. Scene with the receptionist who is married to the copper.

Really fed up with Sid and therapist story line. I find both so irritating.

Felt the need to revive this thread.
How utterly dreadful is Ayesha's behaviour?
