Interesting. I never knew they were allowed to do any home stitching. I think they have always been allowed to make decorative bits but not any of the garment itself. |

I thought the winner was impressive, though it was not a style I would wear myself. TBF, I wouldn’t wear any of them (really not my style). I admire the skills.

I loved the padded and quilted jackets especially the two that came first and second. I'm not surprised Brogan couldn't wait to wear hers! As for the other rounds, I didn't really warm to any of the garments and actually thought all of the coats were horrible. Brogan's duvet cover dress was very 1970s Laura Ashley and was pretty but a bit too OTT for my taste although I thought it was the best of the bunch. Again the right person went: it was only a matter of time ....

I enjoyed it, but what were the backs of the padded jackets like? I only saw the fronts. Did I blink?
Most of the coats were grim although Cristian’s, which seemed odd at first, did grow on me. I didn’t like the GOTW at all! Some of the maxi dresses, which took me back!, were OK but I thought Brogan’s was far too mumsy. It would have looked OTT on Little House on the Prairie! 😂😂 I think it was the lacy collar that made it look as it did. A scoop neck would have suited it better imho.

They only had to patch the front and the sleeves, I think. They were given material for the back.
