Congrats to Jake Whiteman taking Gold in the 1500 metres. First Brit to win the event since Steve Cram in 1981 who was also the commentator last night. As for the BBC presentation team...not much to congratulate there.

Too much chatting not enough action. Presenter’s delivery is hard on the ear I just press mute when she's on. I guess the reason we have the studio nonsense is so that viewers won't have to watch the live field events. Paula Radcliffe in the CB is another minus. Wish I had the Eurosport option. |

Police were called to the stadium after the mascots head was reported stolen. Apparently Steve Cram is helping the Police with their enquiries.
