Only Murders in the Building -- Hulu

A friend has sent me the first four episodes of this mystery comedy-drama television series created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman. I will get the rest, there have been two 10 episode series, if I like it. The plot follows three strangers played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, with a shared interest in true crime podcasts who join together to investigate a death in the apartment building they all live in.

I wanted to hate it, before I had even started watching it. There is something about most half-hour American television comedy that irritates me. But, I decided to give it a chance, if only to be able to honestly say that I had watched it, and didn't like it. I was quite annoyed when I found it better than I had expected; not must watch, television, but not bad., something to add to my list of things to watch in the new year, after I get the rest of the episodes.
