This was fascinating! Patrick Grant behind the scenes at the tailors responsible for the new military uniforms for the Coronation. I would have loved a bit more technical info but the company guards their secrets closely!
Also fascinating was the badge and button makers in the Jewelry Quarter in Brum. I hope that old fella is passing on his skills.

Looking forward to catching up with this tonight. I come from a family of tailors who worked in the West End for generations making uniforms amongst other things. One of my relatives was the Regimental Master Tailor in the Grenadier Guards in the late 19th century so I have a very special interest.

I've just been watching this so came on to recommend it. Patrick Grant was exactly the right person to present this show which I found charming and extremely interesting.

What an enjoyable programme and such an informative one too. I loved the whole Kashket family and Patrick Grant was a good choice of presenter: he knew what he was talking about but didn't make the programme about him. And then there was Seamus.....😍

I thought representatives of the Kashket family were more deserving of seats at the coronation than Ant and Dec.

They may well be at the barracks doing last minute repairs!

They may well be at the barracks doing last minute repairs! OK a good point. I didn’t think of that. Ant and Dec can go then, 😂. At least they aren’t Phil and Holly, after Queuegate.
