Not a bad first episode - interesting twist at the end. Pacy comedy - not 'down with the kids' BBC3-ish - with some good loughs and possibly the first BBC police sitcom since Jasper Carrot and Robert Powell in The Detectives - or was there one set in Scarborough?

Yes, I happened to catch this, not expecting much, but I thought it was really quite funny. Reminded me a little (I stress, a little!) of Outlaws.

I too wasn’t expecting much but thought it might be worth a try. I didn’t laugh out loud once but it was amusing I guess. Quietly funny perhaps. A good concept for a show though so I’ll stick with it.

I quite liked it too, against my expectations having seen the trailer. Trailers are often misleading though.

I’m just watching the second episode of this and it’s everything that I believe bad comedies are made of … yet weirdly, I’m actually loving it! Go figure!

Well, the last episode of this was on last night, and I must say I’ve really enjoyed it all the way through. Silly, yet laugh out loud funny throughout. I’m surprised more people haven’t commented. |

I only started watching it half way through, and realised it was a lot better than I thought it would be. Would definitely watch another series

Well, the Beeb didn’t exactly plug it did they. Maybe they will repeat it in a while. If they do, I highly recommend it. And of course, it’s on the iPlayer.

I watched it on iPlayer so finished the other week. I really enjoyed it and would definitely watch another series. There wasn’t much publicity about it, was there? I wonder why. I also wondered whether it was destined to be a BBC3 comedy at one point but then got switched to BBC1 where it probably wouldn’t find the same target audience. But it had charm as well as being amusing and also an interesting plot. I thought this was loads better than the big comedy hit of the moment, Colin from Accounts, which I abandoned.

I enjoyed it, and would watch another series - the ending seemed to hint at more. Occasional jokes were lost on me because I hadn't heard of someone referred to - but that didn't matter as it was so quick-fire there was always something amusing happening.
