First Test of the season! I did think about going to Lords, but there’s a train strike Just as well I didn’t, as I am an Ireland supporter  Ah well, never mind Lots to look forward to, the Ashes series starts in a couple of weeks! |

Full team won’t reappear till the Ashes series, but in this match Aggers Tuffers Michael Vaughan reinstated Alistair Cook visiting Ebony Rainford-Brent A couple of players from the England Women’s team whose names I’ve forgotten …..and Alison Mitchell I won’t name the person I know you don’t like, Miranda, but I expect he will turn up later  |

Day 1 of the Ashes!  Listening to TMS as I don’t have the required TV access….. the crowd reaction to the first ball made me think that Crawley was out, not that the ball had gone for 4! Tea now… so far so good |
