Oh dear  I agree with Michael Vaughan… he said the England players seemed to think this is ‘just another game of cricket’ It isn’t. It’s Australia and the Ashes. |

You wait till the Umpire calls "Over!"....schoolboy error Mr Bairstow. Been Interesting it it wasn't the last ball of the over. Actually Bairstow was still in his crease when the wicketkeeper threw the ball. I imagine it was a warning about prematurely leaving his crease. He was surprised as anybody when he did! |

Sadly the rain has rescued Australia and they retain the ashes. Apparently Sky were going to allow their coverage to be shown on regular TV if we'd won. Wasn't to be.

So disappointing Even Glenn McGrath admitted Australia had run out of ideas… We would have won had the rain not arrived so decisively. But that’s how it goes in cricket We move on - Hopefully the final test will be a good one! |
