This is a series based on Bernard Cornwell's Arthurian Book series. It has been made by ITVX. I enjoyed the books, they had a slightly different take on Arthur and Lancelot.
Trailers should be coming soon.

It's on my list to watch. Starts in the US on 20 August, maybe the same date on ITVX.

Any updates on start date?
It was pouring down yesterday and I was fed up trying to do things in the rain, so I made some sandwiches and flicked through the channels. I happened on Britannia - what unadulterated utter codswallop that was. I managed three episodes of this tripe before I decided to do some housework!!! TV has to be bad for that.

No date yet, just "Autumn 2023".
Britannia - generally weird, especially anything to do with Mackenzie Crook's character, and often outrageous, but I quite liked it. Unusually, I thought David Morrissey was pretty good - I normally don't rate him very highly. I had a theory the young girl Cait would turn out to be Boudica, but the series was cancelled before she got old enough.

So straight to ITVX.
I will watch but there have been lots of people complaining about how much has changed from the books. I think that is inevitable and Cornwell has always said he hands it over they do what they want. The last series of The Last Kingdom was pretty pants because they left the story arc of the book and kept characters in that had already died in real life. They also let the lead actor direct some of the episodes. I watched it, but it was a sad reflection of what could have been.
I remember laughing out loud as they climbed along the precarious cliffs at Bamburgh, cliffs that appeared to stretch for miles! If you've ever seen Bamburgh Castle you will note that it is surrounded by long sand beaches. To top it all they then had a battle seen on the top of said imaginary cliffs with soldiers falling over the edge. Just so unlikely, no self-respecting medieval war lord would ever have had a battle on a cliff top.

I didn't finish the series. It was naff. Bad casting, horrendous script and not enough people in the scenes. Everyone looked frozen because they must have filmed in the winter.
Great books, bad TV.
