New series starting tonight on BBC 4. About the history and mechanics of those he regards to be the best arias in the history of opera. Very interesting so far with some great singers demonstrating the techniques.

I've now seen this. I love the way he uses film footage of performers from all eras where it is available to illustrate his points, not just the present generation of performers. Great stuff.
