Anyone watching this? It’s another one of those C5 overwrought dramas, so good as a guilty pleasure. It’s supposed to be set in London (Budapest in fact) in an impossibly cool and enormous modern house, set in quite large grounds, so which part of London I cannot imagine. Everyone is totally ghastly. A husband knocks a much younger woman off her bike and they start an affaire. She gets pregnant so that’s end of the marriage where they had fertility problems and he marries the young woman. But the ex wife is a constant presence. And his family have no time for the new wife.
As usual with these things there is a lot to hate but you get sucked in! Personally I think they are after the baby but who knows. Maybe the smug git of a husband is in fact genuine! The only one I like so far is the new wife’s mate Sam so that’s probably the kiss of death for him.

I'm watching. From the opening sequence, it doesn't look like either hubby or ex-wife have much of a future! I didn't recognise any of the cast though it seems I've seen most of them in various earlier productions. I'll keep watching.

I have yet to watch this but the title seems familiar. Is it based on a book as I think I might have read it and that's why it rings a bell.

I settled down to watch it last night but gave up about halfway through. I am sure I have seen it, or something very similar, before and yes, it is based on a book. The relentless background music drowned out the dialogue for me: I thought programme makers had given up doing that. I put the subtitles on but that was no help because they lagged behind the action so what appeared on screen didn't apply to the character speaking at the time. Very disconcerting and distracting! After struggling to follow I decided I really didn't care enough about any of the characters anyway so I switched off.
