Did anyone enjoy the start of this series of 3 programmes. Last night it started in Scotland exploring the UNESCO National GeoPark in the Northwest of Scotland. Once more spectacular scenery and weather where the personable Tori Herridge a palaeontologist explored the dramatic fall to earth of an asteroid leaving a crater about 45 km wide. She was shown proof of this by Dr Mike Simms of Ulster Uni eventually taken to the possible site of it,now unrecognisable as this was 1.2 billion years ago Well worth searching for it, might it be repeated on one of the other Ch 4 programmes . I would love to be younger and re explore that area which I explored about 50 years ago not knowing this. I think Lairg is at the centre of the crater
