Soldier Field switched to mobile-phone only tickets a couple of years back.

Old fashioned paper tickets became rife with forgeries. Plus made it difficult for people who held season tickets to sell tickets to games they could not attend. They had to make arrangements to get the tickets to the actual buyer.

Now its as easy and sending a text.

I don't know TBH. I know when I went it was paper tickets but that was 2013. I think some places have and some haven't so it depends on where you are going.

In a way its a bit sad. I used to have such a collection of ticket stubs from sporting events, rock concerts. They held special memories.

When you have electronic tickets I guess you can take a screen capture and print it but its not the same.

But I understand its the way forward. Saves time. Money. Paper. Printing. Shipping. A much smaller footprint.
