I don't blame you! 79-0! That's a ridiculous score. That's 11 TD + EPs and a safety!

It's a nice mix of teams for the London games.
The Rams a super bowl team last year. The Benals arent very good this year but sometimes they have a good week and can put up a load of points.
The Panthers v. Bucs should be a good game1and 100 points might go up in that one!
And of course the annual visit from the London Jaguars and their tilt with the Houston Texans and DeShaun Watson one of the premier QBs in the NFL.
For the Jags QB Gardner Minshew II will no doubt be noteworthy to the press for his pornstache. 😉

Chicago Bears fight song:
Bear down, Chicago Bears Make every play clear the way to victory! Bear down, Chicago Bears Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation With your 'T' formation Bear down, Chicago Bears And let 'em know why you're wearing the crown You're the pride and joy of Illinois Chicago Bears, bear down!
Perhaps a few choruses will ring out tomorrow in Tottenham!

They didnt pass a lot back then. Lol The ball was shaped slightly different, the laces not as pronounced. Plus it was pre-integration and there wasnt a black player on the pitch. I've always thought there should be 2 sets of stats in American sports. One for pre-integration and one for post. Take baseball for example; Babe Ruth is often considered the best baseballer of all time and still holds some all time career records. But he never played in a single game where a black player was on the pitch. Not his fault, he played when he played. But things need perspective. The NBA of course too. A league that is now probably 90% black athletes used to be 100% white.

I certainly agree about comparisons. But, I found these statistics astonishing, especially when Washington had defeated Chicago 7–3 in a regular season game three weeks earlier in Washington.

After 8 interceptions you would think Washington would stop trying to pass. Lol

Maybe they did. Actually, looking at their rushing yardage, it looks like they didn't. But, it also shows that Chicago didn't need to pass, they let Washington do it for them, and got three touchdowns out of it.

I'd forgotten all about the 3 second FG at the end of the 1st half.

The Patriots in their old red and white kits and before they were a dynasty. The two negatives from that game, Lesley Frazier blew out his knee on a punt return and never played another game. Sweetness Payton didnt get a touchdown. All else was good!!!

It's the way McMahon plays like we were only a point in front for the whole game. Such intensity in him. And yeah, I would have loved Sweetness to get a TD. Just watched Ritchie Phillips get a pick-six and not give back the ball! He very nearly had it up his shirt.
