John Gruden just said that he likes to bring in players that are just like him. So, he's saying he's like like Vontaze Burfict and Richie Incognito?

Gruden's nickname in the states amongst the media and fans is "Chuckie" because of his short temper and resemblance to the evil murderous doll from the titular horror films. Guess it stands to reason he likes thuggish players

Stefon Diggs is following the poor example set by Antionio Brown. Diggs was fined $200,000 by the Vikings for missing 2 team practices and a number of team meetings without permission. Diggs - who is a top 10 receiver talent, perhaps top 5, is frustrated with Minnesotas new "run first" style of offense. Through 4 games Diggs has only 13 receptions and 1 TD. Placing him as closer to the #60 receiver in the league statistically. He has also taken to social media to say publicly he wants to be traded or released. www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27780366/sources-vikings-fine-stefon-diggs-200000-unexcused-absences-practice-meetings

Is just me or are players coming out of college with an even greater sense of entitlement than they used to? Or am I being unfair?

And, they are being encouraged by a lot of commentators, especially on Fox, who give the impression that in the current NFL, they are entitled to get as much as they can. When someone, Jerry Jones, for example, mentions players having to be team friendly in the age of the cap, these commentators simply say, that this is not reasonable, saying usually, that New England is the exception that no owner should use as a comparison. They definitely reinforce any sense of entitlement that a player may have.

Richie Incognito with a nice bonehead penalty to take the Raiders out of field goal range.
Chuckie looks none too happy.
