I'm watching. The depiction of the flood and its aftermath may be accurate, but that seems to be a backdrop rather than the main story here. However the behaviour of some of the characters, especially police, is pretty unbelievable.
That said, I am quite enjoying it and will continue. Just been watching episode 2 (at least if you have an ordinary, free, ITVX account the whole series is available).

I did like the depiction of the flood. It was happened at the end put me off. A police officer doing that is not believable to me. Surely they wouldn't be that stupid.

I enjoyed it but found it unbelievable she would send the DNA profile to a genealogy site. I also found it incredible she would then get a match. But. I thought the flood was done well.

That's what put me off it. Not the match but doing it in the first place when she'd been specifically told it's illegal by a senior officer. TSTL she is. |

Almost as surprising as getting the database hit really. I think it’s a bit unlikely all round this plot, but it is watchable.

Yes, very surprised that they would give her contact details to a possible relative without her permission, and that it would all happen within days!
