I agree, much of it is pretty unlikely or impossible, but it is entertaining. I've watched it all on ITVX now. There are similarities with Criminal Record (Apple TV+) - which also has a female DS (played by Cush Jumbo) looking into things she shouldn't be but which need investigating, and being deliberately hampered by generally male colleagues, especially a DCI (played by Peter Capaldi).

Note for anyone watching episodes when aired - next weeks episode 5 is on Friday 9 Feb not Wed 7 Feb due to live FA cup football match.
