New comedy from BBC Scotland. It's very good after the first couple of minutes. Stars Ashley Storrie (Janey Godley's daughter) as an autistic woman with a sister she is very close to that has become engaged after a whirlwind romance.
I don't know if she is autistic in real life but she plays it well. And the writing is very funny. But use subtitles cos they all speak really quick!

It's similar in tone to Two Doors Down. I'm guessing it's the same writers.

I quite enjoyed this, unlike the other new sitcom Mammoth which I had to abandon.

I didn't like the sound of Mammoth.

It’s a bit “let’s make a sitcom out of Gene Hunt” really. Well Gene Hunt was brilliant, but in an edgy show not this rather Benny Hill situation. It may improve but I have to stream all of Mad Men, so no time for this.

I did watch the first 10 mins. It had one or two funny moments but not enough to keep me watching. It was very predictable.

Another here who enjoyed this, but disliked and baled out of Mammoth.
Dinosaur is a bit reminiscent of the recent Channel 4 dark comedy 'Big Mood', in which the main character's bipolar disorder puts her long friendship with her best mate under increasing stress. Big Mood isn't as warm as Dinosaur though, and by the end is quite sad with any humour (imo) having evaporated.
